Discharge Printing Pile Fabric on Fleece Fabric

If you’re looking to print on a darker Printing Pile Fabric(ROUROUROU), discharge is the way to go. Because discharge will strip away the pigment of the polyester, it’s important to understand the fabrication content of your garment. Our fleece products are made up of 60% combed and ring-spun cotton and 40% polyester, so when discharge printing on them, keep in mind that the poly content will not only be stripped of pigment, but it also won’t really hold the pigment that you replace it with. That will give the print more of a vintage-look, since the ink won’t be as bright and vibrant on the fabric. While at Shirt Agency, we discharged on our storm cropped fleece hoodie, which turned out great!

We also tested discharge printing on our pullover hoodie in one of our new colors – heather forest. Because the garment was dark, the discharge print was a bit more vintage-looking, which is awesome if that’s what you’re looking for.

How to Choose 100% Polyester Plush Fabric

There are many applications for 100% Polyester Plush Fabric(ROUROUROU), such as some clothes, plush toys and so on. How do you choose for plush cloth? Check the quality of plush cloth to see:

1 The plush density is heavy, and the hand feel is smooth (ie, the bottom yarn is not serious, the rough surface is erected or fallen, which has a great influence on the weight of the crepe and the finishing quality of the plush factory)

2 The quality of the original yarn and the quality of the weave affect the softening effect;

3 The quality of shearing affects the height of the hair;

4 dyeing accuracy affects color;

5 Large-area matte surface effect: Whether the matte effect is velvety, erect, supple, with or without abnormal indentation, wave pattern, chaotic hair and other anomalies. The above aspects can basically be used to judge the quality of good or bad.

Naturally, there are different things for different grades. The requirements for them are not the same.

New Sunshine Fabric Uses Sun and Wind to Power Devices

Sunshine Fabric(ROUROUROU) that can generate electricity from physical movement have been in the works for a few years. Now researchers at Georgia Institute of Technology have taken the next step, developing a Sunshine Fabric that can simultaneously harvest energy from both sunshine and motion. Combining two types of electricity generation into one textile paves the way for developing garments that could provide their own source of energy to power devices such as smart phones or global positioning systems.

To make the fabric, Wang’s team used a commercial textile machine to weave together solar cells constructed from lightweight polymer fibers with fiber-based triboelectric nanogenerators. Triboelectric nanogenerators use a combination of the triboelectric effect and electrostatic induction to generate small amount of electrical power from mechanical motion such as rotation, sliding or vibration. Wang envisions that the new fabric, which is 320 micrometers thick woven together with strands of wool, could be integrated into tents, curtains or wearable garments. “The fabric is highly flexible, breathable, light weight and adaptable to a range of uses,” Wang said.

Fiber-based triboelectric nanogenerators capture the energy created when certain materials become electrically charged after they come into moving contact with a different material. For the sunlight-harvesting part of the fabric, Wang’s team used photoanodes made in a wire-shaped fashion that could be woven together with other fibers.

Comfort and Popularity of 100% Polyester Plush Fabric

100% Polyester Plush Fabric(ROUROUROU) is a soft, fuzzy fabric used for sweaters, sweat shirts, jackets, mittens, hats, blankets, and in any other applications where a warm, wool-like material is needed. It is a two-sided pile material, meaning that both the front and back surface of the fabric sprouts a layer of cut fibers, similar to corduroy or velvet. Polyester fleece is an extremely durable fabric that not only holds in warmth but resists moisture and dries quickly. Unlike many other synthetic woolly textiles, polyester fleece does not pill-bunch up into little balls-after extended use. It became popular for out-door gear in the early 1990s, because back-packers and hikers found it lighter weight and warmer than wool. It is increasingly popular as a fashion fabric, and has found a host of more specialized uses. Polyester fleece has been used to make underwear for astronauts, in deep-sea diving suits, and as ear-warmers for winter-born calves.

Synthetic fibers date back to the nineteenth century, when scientists in England and Germany developed methods of extruding the liquid state of certain chemicals through fine holes, to get thread-like strings. Fiber-glass was made this way, and various other chemical fibers that were ultimately not useful as textiles. A Frenchman, Count Hilaire de Chardonnet, invented an artificial silk in the 1880s, using wood cellulose treated with nitric acid and extruded through a nozzle. Chardonnet silk was the first commercially viable synthetic fabric. In the 1920s, chemists at the Du Pont Laboratories in the United States developed nylon, an artificial fiber made of giant string-shaped molecules. British scientists extended the DuPont research in the 1940s, and came up with another polymer made of string-shaped molecules called polyester.
